A Soldiers Wife in Need of understanding Anxiety?

I am A Very Proud Army Wife and My Husband has been deployed for about 14 months and 3 days now granted I%26#039;ve seen him for R%26amp;R and he got to come hoe for 24 days in July since he%26#039;s been gone for a second time I%26#039;ve been having my heart skip beats with trouble breathing and dizziness and blacking out also my heart rate is usually about 80-110 bpm at night I%26#039;ve been to the doctor and they say I%26#039;m fine but starting to think it might be anxiety don%26#039;t know though ! for those of you who have someone in the military know what I%26#039;m going through and how do I cope until he gets home ? any advice?

I can%26#039;t realy help, as I%26#039;ve always been the deployed and never the left at home. But i can say this...B/c of the way most Army wives handle their husbands being deployed, I%26#039;m glad to hear you%26#039;re in so much pain. I know that sounds horrible, but it%26#039;s just that you truley love your soldier and you%26#039;re not one of the statistics. Tell him I said congrats on finding one of the good ones, I guess we are among the lucky ones, and it almost seems like you%26#039;re the last of a dieing breed. Good luck and keep your head up.

why does everyone always think the worst and then if it happens they are supprised? Have faith woman!! You have to know it in your heart he WILL come back to you!!

I am not a woman going through what your going through (keep you in my thoughts), but I know anxiety. Doctors did nothing for me, but Acupuncture worked miracles, and there are so many new age concepts that just work. I would do some research, and try something I mean what else are you going to do? Right? I know some people are iffy on the whole new age thing, but Acupuncture has been around for thousands of years. Good luck I hope this helps you!!! I would take Acupuncture over medication any day.

just relax and have faith. There is nothing to worry about- don%26#039;t watch the news and send him 2 letters a day from different post offices. you don%26#039;t want to start having anxiety attacks. smoke a joint to mellow out if you can. I will put your family in my prayers.

Just remember how brave he is and that is is fighting for something important, our freedom. It may not help your anxiety but you must be very proud of him. I would be more worried if you weren%26#039;t experiencing anxiety. Just remember how much you love him and that hopefully you will see him soon.

The armed services provides service for significant others and spouses just like you. You are not forgotten. Contact your local veterans office or doctor and tell them of your plight. They may connect you with others in your area, groups for counseling, etc. Families, people with the same problems. You%26#039;ll find your not alone. An armed service registration office will be able to help also.

i dont blame u for worrying it does sound like anxiety that is a normal reaction to worry about your loved one

try not to think about whats going on were your husband is dont constantly look at the news for a glimmer of hope that this will end try to concentrate on your life and whats happening to you i am sure you re husband does not want you to worry if it gets worse and u find you are constantly obsessing about this some medication may help perhaps there are support groups in your area for soldiers loved ones this probably would help the most because there are a lot of worrying loved ones left behind hope this helps you
